I can't say I've heard anything about the 3 that you listed yourself, however I have seen a few reviews for Amar's suggestion I would take a look through the forum for reviews on them, also before going with any host, make sure to send in a sales e-mail and see how prompt and in depth the reply is

It depends on what you need, but I'm with Hetzner (hetzner.de) and they are great until now for me.
Most resellers in Europe/Germany also use their datacenter.

http://setuplink.com/web-hosting/vps
$10 special: - 35GB HDD
- 1TB BW
- 512 RAM
- 40MBit Network (100MBit when you move up to the next plans)
- rDNS
- Control panel / OS-reloads
Too early for me to create a review yet, since I've only been on board there a week. All experience with them so far has been positive though. Support responsive and helpful. I've not yet run a speed test, so only can comment on limited experience I've had.
Falkenstein - Germany, not Frankfurt - Germany.

Would you prefer a Windows based platform for a little more.

imho. german http://welcome2inter.net/ beats regarding stability almost any vps host I ever had and I had them a lot... There are like one or two short downtimes every year.
Also vps4less.de (which are actually valueserver.de sisters company I think) are there for ages and aren't that bad at all. The had some issues with lack of support some year and half ago but nowaday seems solid rock.
