Anyone having problem getting their records updated or changed? It has been 3 months now and they refuse to change my e-mail address on my record.

Can someone advice me on how to get anything done at Network Solutions. I am about a hairlength away from going down there to shoot their staff.

Below is the lastest message I sent to them.

I have gone through the process of updating my email address for the record of fusionwerkz.com numerous times. I have faxed in the data required numerous times. It has been months and nothing has been done about it. What kind of a monkey business are you people running? What else do I have to do to get such a simple request completed?

When I called NSI. I was told it will be done in 9 working days. It has been more than 3 months since I first request a change.

Please stop asking me to fill in the damn form. I have already done that numerous times. I have also faxed in my details numerous damn times. Last year all it took was to follow the simple procedure. This year NOTHING can be achieved!

Please update my damn record as requested.

The only way to get things done with NSI is to call them. You'll have to wait on hold 45 mintues (if you're lucky--it could be longer), but if you want it taken care of that's your only real option.

I called NS on Sunday to make some changes. I couldn`t believe it when someone answered the phone and it only rang once! Not only that but he made the changes. I now believe in miracles.

I was so shocked I didn`t get any info on who he was.

I do have a tracking number that he gave me, I could probably find out that way.

Okay, so you have no proof that you actually talked to a real human being at NSI. I'm starting to doubt your entire story now.

Enter a new support case: "I got help from your support. This is unbelievable, please stop this behaviour immediatly!"

You know.. it looks certain. Some people have no idea what they are doing.

I still have 2 domains with NSI. Rest of my domains are either with joker or 000domains.
So far, I have not had any delay on updating domains. It's because I have been with NSI for more than three years. I know how to do things on NSI. But some(maybe most) don't.

I think sometimes it depends on the host or domain registrar you are transfering to. I have always used 000domains and I have had no problems trasnfering my domains.

You have to know the secret number. The fax number that show on their forms and that they tell you to fax to is the wrong number. I found that out last week when I was assisting a client in transferring a domain that expired at the end of last month. I didn't want them to remain with NSI and there was little time left to effect a transfer to 000domains/Open SRS.

I called NSI and was told the number on the forms had not been used for some time. They gave me another number. It turned out that it didn't work either. I called again and was given a number that supposedly is not given out much. It worked! We completed the transfer to OpenSRS. Try faxing to 703 326-7013

I beleive http://nic.us is worse then network solution. These people can't be reached any way. I can't beleive it... US Domain Registry for the United States top-level domain is the most useless registry I have ever experienced. I am really pi55ed
I tried my best to contact them and now I doubt if there is any one live over there or not.
