Hi Folks,

Was just about to sign up with heartinternet.co.uk primeraly because of the whmcs module they offer to intergrate ith your own WHMCS system which I really like.

Anyone know of any other companies that offer the same thing?

You would not really need a module when Reselling Shared Hosting using WHMCS, the system already does everything you need and more.

The only thing worse than an unlimited shared host is an unlimited reseller host. Just the thought makes me cringe, lol.

As for the WHMCS module, I see no mention of it on their website. If you want a truly professional reseller, go with Innohosting, I have heard nothing but good things about them.

I do not really see anything special that it does that WHMCS can not do out of the box, with the exception of controlling domains registered through HeartInternet.

Looks like HeartInternet doesn't use cPanel, so a custom module for WHMCS is needed...

I did not realize that they do not use cPanel.

The other remark as in regards to "unlimited" reselling.

Well thanks for the comments...I think, I did not intend to offer it as unlimited myself and if you read the small print its not realy unlimited.

So back on point if I may and for the sake of clarity:

Are you guys saying that if I sign up for a reseller with a particular host I can use my own whmcs to allow my customers to transparently register domains and hosting from my own site?

I should also point out that the reason I am looking for a reseller packing is mearly a bolt on and a minor element of what I will be offering.

Yes, in a typical Reseller Account running WHM/cPanel you can offer Web Hosting, Domain Registration Services branded for your company.

I am not familiar with the control panel that HeartInternet uses, so it might be best to ask them.

If I were you, the only thing I would be worried about is being hosted on an oversold platform to leverage low costs and "unlimited" offerings.

There are both good and bad reviews of HeartInternet here. I would advise you to use the search function and see for yorself the positives and negatives of HeartInternet!

With WHMCS and WHM/cPanel, you can sell hosting. To sell domains automatically through WHMCS, you would also need a domain reseller account.

Custom panels, custom WHMCS modules, who would want to put yourself in that position knowing full well if you decide to move web hosting providers your painted into a corner and cant just move your stock hosting account and clients somewhere else if need be. Not without a great deal of time and effort! I also didn't know you could register and manage a domain name from your WHM/cPanel?(smile)

Why not go with a cPanel/DirectAdmin Reseller Account, they work with WHMCS with their official modules. There are countless horror stories with Heart

Seems like the proper solution. I wouldn't recommend going through those 3rd party type hosting reseller services. I remember seeing so many of those 'secureserver' all-in-one free reseller packages all too much back in the day

Awesome point - it's even difficult to sell DirectAdmin shared hosting, let alone some random brand control panel.
