Hello,

I just get a dedicated server and I am currently installing OpenVZ however I have came to a snag. I know the wonderful people here are helpful and would love to help so here we go

I am following the wiki for OpenVZ and at http://wiki.openvz.org/Install_OpenV...G_THE_NEW_CODE part, this is what happens.

[root@vps1 cache]# vzpkgls | grep x86_64

[root@vps1 cache]# vzpkgcache -f centos-4-x86_64-minimal
cp: cannot stat `/etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts//ve-vps.basic.conf-sample': No such file or directory
ERROR: Can't copy VPS config
[root@vps1 cache]#

Can anyone tell me please why I am getting this?

Seems you are missing the file
/etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts//ve-vps.basic.conf-sample

Take a look at /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts and see which configs you have. You just need to create the one it references.

Have enough images there?
