I subscribe to Level 3 CDN via VPS.net and go for Premium POP due to I have visitors from Asia too. The price is almost triple compared to standard POP.
I am not able to view the CDN property configuration from the Level 3 Media Portal, I guess maybe is because the access and VPS.net is reseller. For the origin pull path and cname, I have to do it through VPS.net support.
I want to make sure they have enabled Premium POP because I have paid for the extra. However, when I do a traceroute from different location (Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo), my traffic went to US IP. A ping test from 50 locations worldwide shows none of the Asia IP.

I have used Akamai and Internap CDN services before, and they route traffic to the nearest geo-location, and usually is the local IP, for example, ping or traceroute from Singapore will eventually land on their POP at Singapore.
Just wondering how Level 3 CDN works here.
