Where To Buy Additional C Class IP For Customers? Is This Possible?

Hey guys,

I am new to this reseller hosting business, but I found a market that has some demand to buy/rent additional c class ip. I've look at the reseller hosting ad section but couldn't find any vendor that offers this.

Is this even possible to offer to the customers?

Looking forward for your advice, thanks in advance.

Regards,
Satria

Its very difficult to resell Ips, most providers need justification as to why you need the ips in the first place because 99% of the time its used by spammers.

Not sure if this would help but here is a thread about a provider that will sell you hosting class c subnets

If anything it will give you an idea what other providers are doing

@Thaman
Yes I'm aware that it used by spammers too, however my target market will mostly use it to host their sites in different c class IP then linking them together to increase search engine rankings.

@Paragon Host
Wow thanks for the link Dave, I wonder from where are they bought those Ip's??

Greetings,
If you contact a DataCenter to order IP Addresses, you will almost always be asked for justification. I hate to say that it looks even more suspicious when you ask for them on multiple Class C ranges. I know that this helps with SEO, however SEO is not a reason for justification.

The only way that I have seen to pull this off is to make multiple purchases of smaller IP batches over a period of a few weeks. Most DataCenters assign them in the order that they have in stock, so by giving them a few weeks, you will have a greater chance of being given a block on a new range.

Hello,
Granted SSL is a valid reason for justification, your DataCenter could do an audit to ensure that each IP is running a certificate if they wanted.

Just an FYI, several of the most common reasons for justification are;
  • SSL Certificates
  • VPS Nodes
  • VPN Connections

Yep they could and most probably would ... that is why the link to Start SSL they will give you a FREE SSL certificate for all of your domains. These are granted in minutes and very easy to set up and come back trusted by most browsers

Hi Satria,
Lots of providers provide it but i will suggest you should try with your data center and they can provide you a good price too as well as volume you need and off-course be aware of spammers
