...and now I've finally joined!
Well, hey everyone. My name's Peter, though I don't care whether you call me that or my username, Feld0. I've recently taken an interest to web design and development, and have a few big ideas sitting around, some just for fun and some for profit.
I won't hide the fact that I'm still a bit of a newbie to all sorts of things web development-related, but I'm willing to put the time and effort in to learn to do great things. Particularly, I find the possibilities of PHP/MySQL fascinating, and can't wait to dive into them so I can bring my ideas to life. A friend of mine suggested I start with HTML/CSS first, though, and I'm currently working on that (written 200 lines of original code for a homepage so far, and still going strong).
Outside of web development, I'm currently the editor of a rather large gaming website as well as the owner of one of my own (I believe it's against the forum rules to provide links, so I won't unless someone asks for them). I'm also a proud Nintendo gamer who has found a home in the Yoshi fandom, so to speak.
In addition, I also compose music and write the occasional story for the fun of it (though I do freelance informally).
Anyway, that's me in a nutshell. I'm hoping to see all that this wonderful community has to offer! Glad to finally be here!
