Need static residential IPs
I've been searching end on end for a solution to my problem. I need a static proxy that when resolved leads back to a residential ISP and not a datacenter etc. I have searched on about RDSLs but many of the people don't respond and I don't want to have to change the IP or not be able to use it again in a giant list. Please guys I need some desperate help and I hope this is the place for my needs. I saw that someone mentioned being able to change what the isp of the IP is. Please guys help. Thanks.

So... ask your isp? IPs are purchased/bought and reserved by specific organizations. You can't simply change an ip if the company you're going through doesn't have one available.

You have to go and ask your isp as most residential internet plan don't need a static ip. Have you tried going with a business plan?

So you want a proxy, hosted on someone else's residential cable/dsl/fios line? Are you looking for individuals to setup proxies on their home connection for you, or do you think regional ISP's will provide this service?

You will find many hosts which provide such static IPs with ATT/VZ etc.
Which vendors are you talking about when you say that

bots most likely: ebay, etc sites... doesn't necessarily have to be about cheating people but very often is, that being said, very often is not most likely ... if someone high enough up in the food'/isp' chain were willing to be complicit in your activities (or just allocate you a block rather than assign): they could give you a large enough block that you could swip subblocks within it to different regions/purposes and still have them served from the same place... ... ... but those SWIP entries being translated into geoip database updates take time so it could work but in the long haul. Ya sure ya wanna create a source of income this way? :|
