what kind of DDoS protection do you use?
Is it better than Cisco guard or equal to?

DDoS protection is provided in hardware at the network layer and currently provides filtering for traffic and attacks such as:
ICMP Floods
UDP Floods
TCP-SYN, ACK AND SYN-ACK attacks
TCP-Session
HTTP Protocol Attacks
P-2-P Attacks
Random/Forged IP Address Attacks
Network Scans and Port Scans
Combination attacks including: Smurf, Ping floods, Fraggle, Evasive UDP, UDP scans, Pulsing Zombie, Tribe Flood Network (TFN), Tribe FloodNet2K (TFN2K), and Stacheldrht.
Network layer DDoS protection will mitigate most attacks with no user intervention at all. Extremely large network-based attacks are handled on an individual case basis.
