Mail Relaying under CPanel
Hi,
Nessus has politely told me that my mail server allows relaying.
( Plugin 10262 )
Is this correct, or a bogus problem? I thought as a shared server it had to?
If not, how do i go about reading up and finding out how to disable it?
Thanks!
Dan

Hi Dan,
If you have not properly configured your exim yet Nessus is quite likely right. Disabling relaying does create a few minor problems here and there. If you want to disable relaying you need to edit the exim config which you can do from whm. Search here for how to configure the file.

Cpanel configuration doesn't allow relaying by default So unless you had tweak the configs manually, it may be a false posititve.
