You prefer Laptop or Desktop ?

So guys which one you prefer to use laptop or desktop. If you will ask me personally than I prefer Desktop instead of laptop because I have 24" TFT monitor and working at there is really a great pleasure.

But when I am mobile I would love to take my Laptop - Hp Pavillion.

Tell me guys about your choice.

If I had to choose one or the other to use / have, I would choose my desktop machine as I can multi-task to a greater extent than my laptop - however, this is simply because most of my work is from home, if I had to travel around a lot, I would invest in a high spec laptop!

I prefer both actually. It depends on what I have planned for the day.

Sometimes I have various meetings to go to plus have to oversee projects etc so I definitely use my laptop then

If I'm just in the office or home I tend to use my desktop. But sometimes it doesn't matter because I have all networked to access the files in different locations when I need them.

I use to be a desktop guy, but lately since I travel a ton; I am a laptop/netbook guy now. Life changes, I guess if your on the go a lot then portability makes sense.

I have a triple screen monitors attached to my laptop @ home.
So, desktop or laptop does not matter in that regards to me atm.

Desktop, with my three widescreen monitors.
Laptops are fine for travel and the occasional "sit outside and work" sort of thing, but I'm way more productive on the desktop.

    For me, I am both

Because my current activity is mobile, i'm using Laptop for daily usage.
But when I'm at home, I'm just using my Desktop.

My laptop is not powerful enough for image editing and gaming XD

It will be a long time before a laptop has a NEC 2490wuxi2 for its display. I prefer desktop.

I'd say desktop for me. It's the only way I can set up my battlestation properly. You gotta be able to reach over and turn the volume up on those nice speakers, while reclining in the BOSS chair man.

Both for me. When I am on the go, I rely on a laptop. At home, I usually use desktop even though I use both.

    I agree too!
But I only have one widescreen monitor connected to my laptop instead of the desktop.

My laptop gives me much better battery backup due to the amount of power outages we get (it's a Lenovo Z560)
