Liquid Web Inc Adds Diverse Path OC-48 SONET Ring Connection

Liquid Web Inc Adds Diverse Path OC-48 Connectivity To Datacenter

Web hosting and managed services provider Liquid Web Inc. announced on Wednesday that it has secured a deal with SBC to provide redundant OC-48 diverse path connectivity directly to it's Lansing, MI datacenter.

"This powerful addition to our network will further enhance our already established ability to consistently supply high performance, ultra high availability solutions to clients within our premium datacenter and network." said Matthew Hill, CEO of Liquid Web. "We spent a great deal of time engineering this solution for our network expansion and are confident our efforts will allow us to continue raising standards within the industry."

The new OC-48 SONET ring to the Liquid Web datacenter will feature redundant level 6 fiber along with diverse paths connecting to multiple central offices, allowing for uninterrupted network integrity and operation even in the catastrophic failure of an entire supporting primary CO.

The company remains confident that these expansions, along with their continued additions of tier-1 bandwidth providers, will allow it to continue its dominance as the largest private datacenter in the central Michigan area.
