Angry This is too funny... copying an advert post word for word

    Hey guys,

So someone told me (on our company discussion forums) they searched for "polurnet" on WHT and guess what they found as a first result today?

    http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread...light=polurnet

We went to that link and holy cow , the guy there stole the exact same post layout we've been using for years at multiple forums :

    http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=551539

I didn't want to report it to mods yet, since I thought we can get a good laugh first...

Don't know whether this should this be classified as:
    a) pathetic
    b) punishable
    c) psycho
    d) all or none of the above

Hopefully I don't see those unethical folks copying our webpages... jeez!

Not a very smart attempt..writing ads shouldn't be that difficult a task

Writting ads don't even take that long I can write them in less than 5 minutes.

    Keep an eye on them
If they start copying pages then its time to start taking action!
I could tell you a joke about UDP. But I'm not sure you would get it!

    Thumbs down

Notice how they had to get rid of the 99.9% uptime guarantees, ostensibly their 99.5% uptime statistics weren't appealing enough to copy down ... And oddly enough, they don't have a clue what a "multiple DNS server redundancy AND a fully clustered, global DNS network" means, since their nameservers aren't even on separate Class C's nor clustered. Really sad stuff, especially on WHT

Yeah, decided to report it now, the more I see it, the more pity I feel for their grossly uncreative advertising department (as if they had one anyway)

Anyone that can't take the time to write up their own advertisements doesn't have multiple "departments." Chances are it's a one man shop, just like over half the hosts here.

Yeah, it's sad. For the record the company is called "hostingcamel". Hopefully they'll learn a lesson next time
