FS: Dell Poweredge PE 840
Hello,
Here I have for sale my Dell Poweredge PE 840 Tower Server.
This server was used to mainly run Battlefield 2142 gaming servers for about 6 months or so, and has never faultered
Here are the specs on this server:
* 1 x Dual Core Xeon 3060 (2.4GHZ, 4MB)
* Dell SAS 5/iR Hardware RAID controller (additional PCI Card with SAS and SATA support)
* Hot Plug hard Drive Cage Chassis (accomodates 4 x hard drives drives in pull out cadies)
* SAS5I/R RAID Controller (on-board SATA RAID)
* 2 x 250GB SATA 7200 3.5" hard disks in Dell caddies
* 2 x spare Dell caddies
* 4GB RAM (4 x 1GB modules)
* 2 x Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet NIC (with TCP/IP offload functionality)
* Dell DRAC4 Remote Management Card (complete out of band management, includes separate network port)
* DVD/CD Reader
There is no warranty left on this as it run out February 2010 but still works great and currently has Windows XP Pro installed to it with genuine CD Key
The service tag number for this server is C9W5S2J
I am looking for around £350 on this server as there is no warranty left.
Payment must be via Bank Transfer, Entropay Credit Card or AlertPay. I do not use PayPal and will not make an exception...
Thanks

Hello,
I am unsure because I never used it in a datacenter but it has a 480w power supply so I think around 0.8 - 1A
Thanks

Your server won't be using any where near 480w, that's just the max output the PSU is designed for.
For a system of that spec, your looking at ~0.4amps at idleRackSRV Communications Limited
