    Which Sentris Dedi Package ?

Currently, I am on a VPS (openVZ) with almost the same price, yet less powerful..

Here are my current choices from setris.net

The prices are really close, and i am HONESTLY not entirely sure what the differences are between the below packages..

Help me choose and state why.

my vps cannot hold my site anymore.
my vps is only 512mb ram, 1hgz 1 core cpu and its almost the same price as the dedi servers i posted above.

I read the reviews for sentris here in wht, and they are pretty good reviews

Sentris MAINLY because of the price.
If you can provide a hosting company with similar specs and price, let me know.

You'd probably be better off simply upgrading your VPS.

the vps is on an openvz most likely oversold because they kept throttling my IO, thus causing my mysql process to eat cpu with 99% all the time.
    current load is 50+ GRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Which company? I would recommend more RAM if you're using a panel like cPanel.

Can you post proof of this that there support is bad? The response slow, inaccurate? Are there servers / network good?

I purchased a server from sentris months agao, the server went down by itself, then I request them to have a look and reboot it, I received response about 4 hours later, server came back online about 24 hours later.

That doesn't mean their support is bad already.

Did they explain why the server went back online after 24 hours?

I am currently using a dedi with them. They are pretty good - especially with the price. I had an issue with them regarding 'abuse sites' on my free host (they were a bit sensitive) but they resolved it and are not that strict anymore. Great overall

Sentris support is really bad. They also tend to give you the runaround when it comes to hard drive replacements. But the network and pricing is very good. However I don't recommend them because of support issues.

My recommendation is for imountain if your looking for a cheap provider. Their prices are a little higher than sentris but their support is very good.

In terms of server specifications its difficult to give you a recommendation without knowing your requirements. You're shopping blind until you know what you need.

I am currently running on a VPS with these specs:

512 guaranteed ram, 1 gb ram burstable
    50 gb HD space
    1000 gb bandwith
1 cpu core, 1000 mhz guaranteed
    Unmanaged.
the above specs of my current setup cannot hold the site anymore.
it is more often down than up

We found 3 servers under cpuer and 1 still active today, and we found a ticket about 1 server that he said was down for 38 hours, but when we checked, it was up and pinging ok. Plus, we monitor all our servers, at no extra cost, so we would know the minute it actually went down and ping not work. Could be backbone issue somewhere from his place to ours, but we did not get traceroute to further check and no response back from him.
