WHT Supporting Spam
I really wish that WHT would stop allowing Spammers to post ads on WHT, offering their services under the mask of "SEO". If you look in the SEO Service, most of the ads are for XXX "No Follow" Blog Comments, Twitter Followers, Forum Posts, etc. Why is this still being allowed?

That's a harsh statement Keith but then again, I never visit that side of the thread.

I saw one poster that had posted one ad on one day and then another ad the next day for pretty much the same thing. I thought there was a 7 day wait period so it struck me kind of odd.

Aside from Twitter followers which I believe is against their terms, We've always allowed those that have paid forum posting services (though the posting is not allowed on WHT because of experience rules). The rest look like advertising offers, so what's the issue?

bear, are you saying Twitter follower offers are not permitted? they are posted often and not removed. I've not checked, but I'd be surprised if Facebook also didn't have similar terms for likes.
Aside from that, I agree with you. While I don't like the 'pay for forum posts' stuff, if people are paying for posts on their own forum, you can't call that spam.

Strictly speaking, Twitter says you can't buy followers (lots do). They don't tend to enforce it that I've ever seen, so we don't generally chase people for it. I saw one member here (reportedly a web host) that had like 19 tweets, and 35,000 followers...most of which were teen girls.
If you feel that helps your credibility....I'm speechless.Your one stop shop for decentralization
