    Must-Have Chrome Extensions?

What extensions do you use in Chrome that you can't (or would prefer to not) live without?

    I currently use:

    FVD Video Downloader
    Checker Plus for GMail
    Google Voice
    Google Screenshot
    Send Using GMail (No Button)
    Ad Block
    Reddit Enhancement Suite

There's actually a good plugin called 'productivity owl' it basically stops you visiting sites not on your white list during the times you're meant to be working.

As someone who uses ChromeOS on occasion, I make extensive use of extensions as it is the only way to add additional features to the Operating System. It is not like other Operating Systems in this regard.

    A few of mine are

    - Google Voice
    - Chrome Mote (Allows me to control my Google TV)
    - Google News
    - Chime
    - Google Plus Notifications
    - Android Desktop Notifications
    - Tapatalk
    - User Agent Switcher
    - GMail Offline
    ...

There are more, but these are my daily drivers

    - Chrome Toolbox (Tab closure protection + Pop out video)

    - HostTitle (Hostname in title. Useful for my KeyPass security setup)

    - Screen Capture (Takes Screenshots ... the best one, IMO.)

    - CheckerPlus for Google (Notiifes me of new email with Gmail.)

That sounds like a disease. Or someone that doesn't use Chrome as their default browser.

A few that I love and won't live without are:

Have to have the Bookmarks Menu.

Xmarks Bookmark Sync (Of course, I don't live without it on any browser I'm using). You'll want an account from www.xmarks.com so you can sync all your browsers.

Tab Menu is great for managing several tabs.

To manage sessions, I use Session Buddy.

And because I work in a secure environment and want to make certain I always have what I've typed - Lazarus: Form Recovery.

I'd be lost without LastPass as well.
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

One-Click Extensions Manager....the must-have mother of all chrome extensions

It disables all extensions with a click and also can reenable any specific extension in the drop down list.

I definitely try to limit plugins (because of potential security issues). However, I put a lot of work in with the following:

    - SEOmoz Extension
    - Sprout Social Extension
    - SEOQuake - Really useful for getting PageRank and other info on site on the fly.
    - Rapportive - Automatically pulls social networks up of people you email in Gmail.
    - Google Voice

    For me these are standouts:
    - Pocket
    - Kippt
    - Google Quick Scroll
    - SEOmoz
    - Buffer

    I'm currently using:

    - Evernote Clipper
    - Clearly (by Evernote), act as Safari's "Read" function, very useful for reading news, wiki pages and any occasion where there's a lot of text and you want to get rid of the clutter
    - Wappalyzer, tells what's behind the website (which CMS, which programming language(s), which framework(s), which analytics tool)
    - Alexa Traffic Rank
    - Any.do for quick to-do lists
