Passphrase for restoring R1soft backups
When I try to restore R1soft backups, I am asked for a passphrase. The CPanel password does not work, and I am unable to restore the backup myself. I am facing this problem for multiple backups across different web hosts.
Has anyone faced this problem and / or know of a solution?
Thanks

I suppose you need to apply to the people which provide that solution for you.

It would be the cPanel username and password if your host has cPanel integration enabled.
You'd also need to know the host description though, which could be anything. Contacting your host is the only way to find out why it won't log you in.

The host could restore the backup and was not able to replicate the error. Could it be an ISP or computer specific problem?

It could be a couple of things -
- Were you logging in using the correct URL? i.e http://1.2.3.4/cp
- If you're a reseller, were you trying to login to a subaccounts backups? It'd fail unless you logged directly into their cPanel

For login , I use the Cpanel login and click on the R1soft restore icon.
These are for my accounts where I am the end customer.

Contact to your host, it seems like the Buagent is down or with problems, ask him to restart it.
Also, try to access to your cpanel (and after that to r1soft) using another browser.█ Shared Web Hosting - Reseller Hosting - Semi-Dedicated Servers - SolusVM/XEN VPS
