Bizzare Redirection
I have serveral domain hosted in my server.
when I type the prefix mail, it will lead to www.lead_to_here.com
E.g. mail.mydomain1.com , mail.mydomain2.com and mail.mydomain3.com, all these will direct to www.lead_to_here.com.
This is redirection is pretty bizzare to me.
Thank you.

There are no apache virtualhosts setup for mail.domain.com and it is just using the first domain listed in the apache config listed for that ip which is lead_to_hear

Using cpanel? Set them up as parked or addon domains.
Else, setup new virtual host or ServerAlias entries in existing virtual hosts for the domains you wish to host on your server.

ServerAlias *.domain.com
Like the above?
I have tried adding sub-domain, mail.domain.com, that will make my pop and smtp unusable.Last edited by markkoh; 10-11-2005 at 02:54 PM.

Correction, after adding the sub-domain, mail.domain.com, the pop and smtp is still usable, but when I browse mail.domain.com, it will direct me to an directory of CGI.
How can I have a proper setup for mail.domain.com in apache config?
How can I setup automatically, so that the next time I add a new domain it will be automatically setup the mail prefix?
