internet security suite
hi guys im looking for a complete internet security suite. what are you using?
my main requirement for the firewall is to have the ability to allow programs to get access to the internet. for example im currently using zone alarm free which opens a popup each time a new executable attemps to connect to the internet and then i have two options: allow or deny. Then this policy is stored on my system. i love this functionality.
what internet security suite have a firewall that allows me to do that?
thanks

Although I have heard some computer people say they don't like Norton for some reason, I've really been nothing but satisfied. I like software that is unobtrusive and effective and North Internet Security has fulfilled that for me.
I think Norton 360 is a little more full featured. Look into that. Buy one license and use it across all of your PCs.

I use AVG premium, Spybot SD, Malware Bytes and the default Windows 7 firewall. Have had zero issues. I keep combofix handy in case something does arise. It helps to not use Internet Exploder too.

I use ESET Smart Security. It has a low footprint on your resources, it runs quickly and is very good in terms of all around security features.

Kaspersky and AVG are the best if they are updated and latest.

This can be done using the built in Windows Firewall. If you would prefer an alternative security solution, I highly recommend Kaspersky Internet Security 2012.
