Host4Me.net is gearing up for yet another scam!
Earlier this year there were a number of people scammed by a company called host4me.net.
I just discovered they are at it again. This isn't try #2, but more like scam #3. Their first attempt was a site called ebazz.com. They like to charge a yearly fee and after a few months turn off the servers and just disappear.
I am amazed this guy is willing to use this domain after scamming
thousands of dollars from his former clients.

Be sure to put this one on your s-list!

With any product or service it doesnt leave a person with an idea of doing repeat business with someone you've encountered bad services from.
This is common sense that too few people seem to have nowdays. Im not familiar with the co. but my comments are just based on using common sense.HostCaters.com - Quality Web Hosting - Under A Gig! - Since 1999

You have to think positive about people, though.

And yet be cautious at the same time.
Two months ago someone invited a person is his house to see a movie and beat him for apparently no reason. Just a week ago he did the same thing with another person. Now you're invited to see a movie... Have fun!

Good point. Maybe he alternates between an honest and fraudulent business every year. ARE YOU KIDDING?

One of my clients that bought his domains with Host4me got his domains "switched" from our DNS servers to "webhosting.com" servers. Also the domain has the administrative contact of "host 4 me" and before was my customers name.....
The registrar is Godaddy. I don't know if we can do something for it.^_^

Frankly - once bitten is enough scammers have to earn trust after they have already pulled one scam.
Speaking of - got any links to discussions about this fellas last scam? It helps to illustrate your claims of scamming by showing some historical evidence of said scamming. Interesting if someone is going to scam in the same way, and people fall for it, who should be blamed?

Francisco,
Just to clarify, the domain I am referring to is host4me .NET only. The other extensions belong to different people/organizations and I don't mean to bring them any problems.
There is some info on this board concerning past problems, just do a search for their domain.

Excuse me for my lack of knowledge of the situation, but what happened in the past?
Ebazz.com goes to a "this domain is for sale" page. I'm just totally lost here. What did these people do, or better yet, what are they going to do with a domain?

Ok, so what am I missing here.
A guy with 6 posts comes in here and posts something about a host. Not having or caring to look them up, how do I know that he is even telling the truth.
Then a guy with 700+ posts asks why you think he will be scamming poeple, my assumption when reading it was that he meant, hmm how do we know you are telling the truth.
So the 6 post guy who I don't know, calls the 700+ post guy a webhosting rookie???? Now post count isnt the barometer for if you know your stuff or not but who is the 6 post guy exactly and what does he have to lose if he trashes a host for no reason?
Now that being said, I have no idea if he or host4me or anyone is good or bad just, thats my point. Then a community guide comes on laughs at the comment. I mean I found it funny but more due to the irony of some unknown fellow calling some dude who has at least participated in the board for a while a rookie.CloudNexus Technology Services
