Time to get a new custom server in Leaseweb

    Hi guys.

I'd like to buy a new custom server in Leaseweb, as this:

    Dell PowerEdge R210, 1x Intel Quad Core X3430, 2x500GB SATA2, RAID1 (Mirror), Ubuntu 10.04 (64bit), 4GB DDR3, Remote Power Port

How long does Leaseweb take to start the new server? Any experiences?

    Thanks in advance :-)

It would depend on how many customers are ahead of you in the order queue, but generally quite rapidly. Best thing to do is place the order on Monday morning when the Sales office is open (normal business hours 830-1730 CET, Monday-Friday). You will receive an expected delivery time on confirmation of the order.

Instead of X3430 try X3440 or higher, you can 8 threads from 4 cores.

Thanks you for your fast response! :-)

I know is difficult without the number of customers in that order queue, but could you give me an estimated time? I'd like to know before the confirmation because it's important for me not to wait more of two or three days, and I've seen hosting providers that make you wait ten days or more :O

    Thanks again!

As we said, you would need to discuss this with the Sales Office when it is open, if you have a specific time requirement for setup. You can review this with an account representative at the time of the order, as well as any special priority requests.
