Depends what you mean by cloudstorage? Are you thinking of something similar to Dropbox, Google Drive etc... Or Amazon S3?

There isn't really a complete solution available for something like that. Well not to my knowledge...

You'd need some distributed file system as the base i.e Apache Hadoop or GlustFS. Then you would need to find or develop a front end web script for account creation and provisioning. Its a big ask! But I would start by looking at those two pieces of software I mentioned above.

If you have to ask, you shouldn't be doing it. Just use S3.

Ceph is also a good choice for cloud storage. It's a distributed system and has a S3 frontend if you wish to talk to it in that fashion.

Are you trying to create a service to offer to others, or just for personal use?

You could also take a look at Cloudmin, which can manage network of servers configuration into cloud. Cloudmin has free GPL version alongside paid PRO version.

Just want to say that maybe you need to consult an app/web developer that is experienced in building cloud storage apps to guide you correctly, and to make sure that you understand all the requirements needed.

It's probably a bit more helpful to the OP if you give them some idea as to why you would make that choice.

    Thanks,

it is my personal experience and also I know that major companies are using OpenStack for their cloud storages so I would simply follow them.
