Oh we will prolly keep the current stuff in production until early next year when we may begin forcing people to move off the old platform.

New platform will use hardware that wasn't on the market even at little as 3 months ago - it's very cutting edge (which is one reason why it's taking so long to get ready for production use).

Of course, should you signup now, we can always move you to a newer server on request

As soon as the new servers are put into production we will gladly take requests from anyone on the older servers that wants to be moved.

General migration for all our current customers, however, won't begin until sometime in 2011 - most likely we will begin that after we launch our planned Phoenix location and get settled in there.

Even if you have a host with RAID 10 and daily backups you should not take your own precautions with backups. There are enough stories on these forums that can attest to this.

Okay then, I guess I'll get started right now. I'm just a bit dizzy because I overdrank beer by two bottles of my regular self-proclaimed limit.

Anyway, I'll get started right now and sign up now.

Thanks for answering my noobish questions.

All the older servers are going to be replaced.....we'll post/send out maintenance notices well in advance of that happening.

New servers are fully raided and everything overall performs better

All new orders are going on our newer servers.

I've been using RAMhost for almost a year myself. I've submitted one ticket, and that was only the control panel that was unreachable, VPS was still fine.
I've not not an ounce of trouble, very fast and reliable VPS.
    They be doing it right!!
