Prevent SPam from being sent from server
Hi All:
Just curious if any of you know or find a way to prevent spam from being sent from the server. Possibly looking for certain words and prevent them from being sent out. Anyone know a way or solution? At times, it's hard to find the spammer when they're being sent from the "nobody" account.

Are you referring to users sending spam or an open relay on the server?

I have my own methods for finding this. Mailmon is a good software which will help you find spammers. I used to install this in servers to find spammers.

for this, i think a good solution would be a script that blocks a user from sending mail if he sends more than XX amount in a set period of time and would then inform admin to check out.
Has any one done this kind of thing already? I suppose so, but with what name i could get it so i'll save myself sometimePulsed Media: Dedicated Servers and Seedboxes
