Doesn't look like you need an upgrade

But why it showing all ram used in top command, is this a problem or it is normal ?

It could be an issue with the OS you are running. You may need a 64Bit os or just a different version of the OS you are running.

Look. 10GB (almost) is cached. That is also available RAM which will be used when it is needed. So you don't have to upgrade

Linux will intelligently use available RAM for buffer/cache in order to improve performance. This is a good thing that you have so much RAM allocated toward this, as it's going to improve performance on your server by reducing the load on your disks. Nothing to worry about.

If you are actually running out of RAM, chances are you will be dipping into swap as well - that is when you to need to look into adding more RAM to your server.

I would advice to upgrade the kernel version if anything.

158days uptime for centos 64bit? , you are running on an old kernel.

    Thanks layer0,
Actually some of php/mysql query takes long time to execute. some time more than 2sec. So i was thinking that it may be an memory issue.

Not necessarily if Ksplice is used.

That's up to you. To see if there's an update available, you can run
    Code:
    yum check-update

that's not centos 5/6 stock kernel, so you might need to ask the person who built the kernel for you.

the latest centos kernel versions today is 2.6.32-71.29.1.el6 & 2.6.18-238.19.1.el5

it seems you are using a third party kernel, so my advice would be not to touch it and contact the person who compiled that for you, and ask for a newer patch version if needed.
