That everyone should start to move hosting and domains away from them. Endurance International = poor customer service.

EIG sure loves buying companies. Doesn't EIG dislike revealing what companies they own?

It should have been posted in the industry news section though. I do know that they have poor customer service, and a bad control panel, etc. I just disagree with posting it in this forum.

Yes. However, it is nearly always out anyway who they own. I think they dislike discussing it because they know their product and quality are poor. However they can earn more money because the uneducated maybe don't know that another host is one of their brands.

Namecheap or DirectNIC are better registrars.
I'd suggest moving all of your domains to one or both of those instead.

EIG is the only company I trust less than Godaddy or 1&1.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enduran...national_Group Endurance International Group Inc., formerly BizLand,[1] is one of the world's largest website hosting companies.[2] It achieved its size by acquiring a large number of smaller hosts, including iPage.com, FatCow.com, justhost.com, NetFirms, IPowerWeb, Bluehost, FastDomain, DomainHost, eHost, PureHost, and dozens of others, which it continues to operate under the original names.

I agree that this is the wrong forum but EIG would mean abandoning that registrar for me. They don't put it out because the statistics of how bad everyone of their companies are after they bought them out would make them cry and wipe their tears with thousand dollar bills.
