I have a domain, pointing to an ip address.
the computer is running WS2003 R2 and is a Domain Controller with DNS.
I have another webserver with a different IP. I want to create a subdomain so it points to this new webserver
how can I do this? What steps are required?

I'm a bit confused because you don't have a domain, yet you want a subdomain.
Normally a subdomain works like this: For domain example.com a subdomain would be something like sub.example.com.
Considering the IP# (for example) 12.34.56.78, are you looking to have something like sub.12.34.56.78?
That's not possible.
If you buy a domain name, for example, example.net, then you can create sub.example.net on a different server by some simple nameserver settings.

I have a domain name. Example: Mydomain.com
it points to an IP Address in the Domain Registrar, the nameservers are also changed to the webserver hosters.
now thats fine.
I want to create "blog.mydomain.com"
since I have my own DNS Server, how can I Create this subdomain so it can point to the correct IP Address I wish for it to connect to?
