Cpanel Or Hsphere?
Hello, I am looking for a control panel for a dedicated server, which control panel (Cpanel or Hsphere) do you prefer and why? Thanks!

Greetings:
Hmmmm.. your poll states control panel?
Why is H-Sphere even listed!!!!!???
I can see CPanel as CPanel is just another control panel. I could see Ensim, as Ensim is just another control panel.
But why would you list a complete automations system that saves you so much time and money as just a control panel?
In some ways just kidding, but too many people do classify H-Sphere as just another control panel when the control panel it includes for end users is just icing on the cake.
H-Sphere provides automation for the provider and for the resellers of the provider. It allows you to easily offer multi-domain hosting and private label resellers.
Licenses are recyclable and used efficiently as one customer can host multiple hosting plans and domains with you, and still only use one H-Sphere license.
The licenses can be purchased with a one time fee; there is no monthly recurring cost.
If you purchase your licenses from a reseller, you can qualify for free installation of H-Sphere by Positive Software for a savings of $95.
The H-Sphere community forums are relatively active; and filled with nice, polite, and helpful people (several of whom participate on WHT).
In ending, when you state “which control panel is better,” you are comparing the best chocolate (H-Sphere) in the world with raw cocoa (the just another control panel group) <smile>.
Thank you.

Hello, thanks for your response. When I said "Control Panel" I was referring to HSphere’s control panel it’s self. I wasn't talking about the full automation on it. I wanted to know if Cpanel or Hsphere was easier for customers to use. Although Cpanel is a control panel that can work with Modernbill to make everything automated, I really needed to know which one people prefer for dedicated servers and shared hosting. I do understand what you said because Hsphere is not just a control panel but it’s all that plus more, I was just referring to the control panel aspect of Hsphere. Thanks!

cPanel all the way. The easiest to use! You'll like it! give it a try.
There are many hosts putting a demo of cPanel on their site for you to mess around.
Go to http://www.cpanel.net, and you can get a 15-day trial.
My best advice to you is to try them all, and see which one you like.
One of our admins made a very good thread about control panels, and hope it'll help:

Hope it helps,

After the detailed post which Dynamicnet made I can't
add almost nothing.
Only one - I like H-Sphere but I prefer to have on hand
both H-Sphere, and cPanel!
Of course H-Sphere is more functional control panel.Bestbg - Best "Background" Services

Hsphere all the way.
We played around with both. Cpanel doesn't even come close to what Hsphere has to offer. We've been using hsphere for years now and it is just amazing.

If you're using this server to host "clients" off of, then you should really consider CPanel, since that is what most clients will want, and ask for.

All we use to use was Ensim Pro until this year we brought on Cpanel and we have Ensim pro. Our sales have increased by 50% because of Cpanel. BUt I am thinking of a third control panel but as of right now 90% of our clients choose Cpanel over Ensim Pro.
Whats nice about Ensim pro is you can have multiple logins without having to give out your passwords where Cpanel just has one account login.

H-Sphere... all the way. I've worked with a number of control panel systems over the years, and I've found H-Sphere to be the best in my opinion.

I would say for ease of use for begineers Cpanel is the way to go...H-Sphere is a turn key solution with features packaged all in one....once you try out both of them which is a good decision...let us know of what you think....
Good Luck

In wonder if all the people posting "Cpanel all the way" have first hand experiences with Hspere (I for example don't have any experience with it).
If you know only one of the two solutions it doesn't make much sense to post in a comparision thread.
