    Android VPNs

    Hello All,
I am often on the road and am a stickler for Security. Sometimes I find myself jumping on a nearby public WiFi Hotspot to pull some files down to my tablet. What is the best VPN out there for Android.

Use the built in VPN support and setup a VPN at your home or office....the clients on android work just fine.

Yeah, I don't really like public wifi anymore either. Not after seeing what's all possible. I might be taking a look at VPN for all my stuff.

I'm thinking about having a VPN server at somewhere like VPS.net for $7/mo and using my home router as a client to that. Then when I connect to that VPN...I should have access to my home printers and fileshare...right?

OpenVPN works well if you're rooted.

You can go PPTP but if your home line/VPS/etc don't support it, OpenVPN is great
