How Are Entry Processes Assigned on a Reseller Plan?

If I have a Reseller Plan that uses WHM, does each new Cpanel account I create get a fresh set of 20 new Entry Processes to spawn? Or do all the new accounts use the 20 Entry Processes from my WHM account?

Normally these are on a "Per Account" basis, so each account would have 20 processes.

Thanks! So it makes no sense whatsoever to use Addon domains if I have a reseller account, correct? I'm essentially diluting my own resources.

Correct, set them up as individual accounts.

Well, not exactly. When I say "per account", it does not mean "per reseller account", rather "per cPanel user account". With a reseller account, you are diluting some resources such as disk space and bandwidth but not normally entry processes.

Gotcha. I don't mind splitting the bandwidth and disk space. But those Entry processes are quite important! I want to preserve those as much as possible.

Yes and CPU / RAM limits will also be per cPanel account. It is generally recommended to use a separate cPanel account instead of an addon domain whenever possible. Separating the domains can provide greater security and limit the impact of a compromise.
