FDC Remote Data Storage Opinions?
I've been looking at FDC Servers' Remote Data Storage plans lately and I'd like anyone who's used the plans to comment on them.
Searching around here, it seems as if FDC can be very slow in terms of transfer speed (the one that I am interested in is the 10gb storage 1000gb bandwidth plan) .
Their site specifies that each Remote Data Storage user has at minimum 4mbit of bandwidth available to them. However, their main site (www.fdcservers.net) seems to load rather slowly overall which doesn't give a good impression.
Some disconcerting information is in these threads regarding what seems like poor :

Thanks for the information.
Could you possibly send me a private message with a link to a file hosted on the remote data storage (something like 1mb in size would be fine) in order to gauge speeds?

I actually use the $9 reseller account, to keep backups of my site. I'm not sure I'd use it for a site mirror (until I setup monitoring to check speed and stability) in case my server has problems, but I really have no complaints about them - it usually works, but then again, my backups run at 1AM.
