Question ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server

I was editing my website today and I went to log into the server using Filezilla and I got the following message

Error: Could not connect to server
    Status: Waiting to retry...
    Status: Resolving address of ftp.cluster010.ovh.net
    Status: Connecting to 213.186.33.207:21...
Status: Connection attempt failed with "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server".
Error: Could not connect to server

So I thought maybe the server was down. So I e-mailed OVH and they said everything was fine on their end. To check they had actually looked I used net2ftp and I could sign in. However, if I try to log in using Filezilla I still get the same message.

Can anybody help. I am using a Mac OS X 10.6.8

    Regards, Andy.

It's very possible that if you were FTPing recently that your hosting providers firewall blocked your IP. I would contact them and ask them to check for you.

It might be the filezilla mode settings, you can change between passive and active modes to have another try.
