Confused about SSL
I'm confused about SSL. I couldn't find any way to access my SSL directory through my previous host's CPanel. Do most hosts that allow you to use their SSL, give you a SSL directory where your secure pages reside? That way I could stop the dialog that says " certificate doesn't match" with Javascript by putting "onerror=return true" in my secure pages.
If I use a third party credit card company's SSL, I take it that all secure forms are stored on their server, and I can't make any changes like the above.
Am I right or way off base? Please advise.

If your hosts' SSL is something like https://secure.domain.com/ , you should be able to use https://secure.domain.com/~yourusername/ - not all servers support this, though.

OK, but...
Is there a reseller that gives you an SSL URL that isn't traceable back to them AND that has a directory for secure pages that you can reach through your Control Panel for editing?

There are a few hosts that offer shared SSL with an anonymous domain, just contact them and ask them. Example: http://secure.anonymous-domain.com/~username/ would point to the same as http://www.yourdomain.com/ - same folder
