Connect with «Front Page»
Hi
Where I can find the steps
to connect with «Front Page» to a new site on a Raq4i?
I don’t use FrontPage and one of my customer have problems
and wants to tell the steps...
Also I have find this :
-----------------
When publishing with Fronpage 2000 on a RAQ4 you should use the username "webmaster" for the main site not the username of the site administrator.
-----------------------
It is true? and what password must use the password of the user
or the password on «Frontpage password» ?
ThanksSorry about my English -- Please try to understand me -- Thanks

I'm not entirely sure but I've blindly given the following info to a client and they managed to upload...
I set the password of your FP 'webmaster' account to: HF6gt3p
Hostname: server.name.com
Remote Starting Directory: /web
... and they managed to figure it out.

Frontpage
1. Frontpage Extensions Must be enabled for the site.
2. The user must be a Site Admin. Not the Frontpage User thing.
3. Frontpage uses the same name and password as the user uses to log into site admin.
4. User must publish the web up with Frontpage 2000 not FTP.
5. Form mail can only go to mail accounts on the server (you can set up an autoforward in the mail account.
6. Counter must be chmod 777 in the _private directory.Fish_Saver - Mike

That's a nice link Marty (and rackshack of course ). I hate to admit it, but I tried frontapage a long time ago, hated it, and never bothered to figure it out so I could tell people how to use it (I should have done this, I know). Although I've succesfully weened anyone who asked for it *off* of it, it is good to see a graphical tutorial on how it works, just in case I fail sometime...
