Sadly, not for renewals or transfers (the GoDaddy offer).

The NameCheap one was great, as it worked for everything.

Just throwing this out there, but it's not like they don't already have your Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address...

Really? Hmm if I knew it worked for renewals, I'd just renewed my one domain instead of buying another one

I did see a GoDaddy offer for $2.95 a year up to 3 domains and up to 10 years (so one domain @ 10 yrs would be $29.50 + whatever ICANN fee is).
    Nothing here right now.

This is the conclusion I made when I decided to sign up anyhow. I just don't like the fact they forced you to have a FB account and willingly allow access to that information. I have no problem releasing that information to any legitimate company, but any time ANY 'app' wants to connect to my Facebook I usually decline in a heartbeat. I'm in the process of getting the contact info of people I actually care about, so I can rid myself of Facebook and stay in touch through other means. Had I done that already, I would of been not able to do this deal.

I also do not like this idea. What I did before I allow them to access my profile is delete some info.
After the purchase, I remove them in my App list.
Ask for Server IP & Nameservers IP to check if your reseller provider truly provides 100% white-label.

Yes, it working for transfers/renewals was handy. I went ahead and transferred a domain over for a 1-year renewal.
