dreamhost.com 1Month Review
Well, I been using dreamhost for close to a month now.
Support: I belive support is the most important feature of any host.
With dreamhost, I had great support. So far, I only had some DNS issues, and both were fixed in hours.
Speed: My website loads fast, so I guess speed is very good.
Uptime: In the one month, I only noticed 25 minutes of downtime. Not bad, for shared hosting.
Priceing. Can't go wrong with $10 for a whole year.
Control Panel: I prefer cPanel, but thier control panel is fine. Has more features that I need.
Other: If your short on cash and needs a host, I suggest dreamhost.
Also, you get a free domain!
my domains that are hosted with them:

http://postcrunk.com (still under construction).

Good to see a positive review for this company. Glad you are happy. $10.00 for the whole year...I just hope your solution doesn't turn sour. Keep us posted as time moves forward.

Well how many visits/daily users is your site getting, because im sure if you had a nice swing of a few thousand users your service would go in a downward spiral.
Run with it.

If you would be prepared to tell us it would be interesting to know what bandwidth that dreamhost are giving you and how much you have used.

Let's seeee...from my stats report.
Average successful requests for pages per day: 4,196 (7,401)
Sorry, never used this stastics report before. ^_^
@markjut
Dreamhost advertises 1TB of bandwith (Yes, I know extreme overselling).
I used around maybe 5 gig's?
I dont need 1TB of bandwith, I chose dreamhost just cause of that $10 per year promotion

Thanx for the review. You only _noticed_ 25 minutes of downtime.... hmmm.... I do hope there wasn't more.
You can install a service like Host-tracker if you want to monitor uptime.

I don't like their bandwidth feature:

Hey, from my experience with Dreamhost, they are very fast and very reliable. Some downtime but not very long, very similar to MartinT. Been with them for about half a year now and highly recommend their $10 for a year deal.

I am still with Dreamhost and they rock! I think maybe Dreamhost works well with some sites - like small sites, fansites etc.
Not sure abuot large forums and gaming sites or whatever lol

Yeah i also have an account there (who hasn't) comparing to some other i have used like site5 or lunarpages, they are really good.
Ohh and i have the dreamhost account for like...5 or 6 months and i have there some 10 domains, 5 mysql databases, about 11gb of used space and around 200gb of used bandwidth per month, no big problems, a couple of short burst of downtime lately but nothing compared with the downtime days of site5 and they seem to be related with their power outages and growing pains, and both seem under control.
