Question enom now does webhosting

I just noticed a big "new" sign on enom, that they do webhosting. Has anyone tried it and how long has it been there?

What reseller rates are you getting?

I noticed although it says $9.75/month on the hosting page If I were to order I would get charges $8.05/month in my reseller account. Is it the same for you or do you get a different rate?

maybe resellers get a discount? Considering that package wouldn't compare to most of the packages you see around here for the same price.

timechange, I didn't get any emails from them....yet..

This is what I heard from eNom "We have not rolled this out to Resellers but will in the near future."

Am I the only person who is more than a little bit pissed off about them competing with me? I don't know if I am going to register my clients' names there anymore...

I'm pretty sure you're not alone. But now there's nothing we can do to stop them

IMHO, they should consider either rising their prices to public or increase margins for resellers.

Greetings,

Eboy

Well, I don't send customers to the eNom site per se, but there is the whole look-domain-name-up-in-whois-visit-to-see-if-they-are-cheaper factor... eNom has always done OK on that in the past due to their charging $29.95 retail for domain names, but I think they've forgotten that is one of the reasons for their success in the reseller market...

I dont think people will be looking in the WHOIS for webhosting, do you?

I dont think it will have a significant amount of consumers transferring over. There are much cheaper plans around.

Not if we talk about the MS SQL pricing. It's really cheap... if they really offer "high performance".
