    Arrow Got Pets?

Anyone want to share their pets? I'd be interested in knowing what kind of pet community WHT has

Here's some pics of my doggie Bimmer (yes like the german car..the proper way). He's a 3yr old Chinese Sharpei

Mimics behaviors like a cat such as:

After he goes out, he literally wipes/scratches his feet off on the grass as if he were a cat with cat litter.

    He likes to pounce!

When he was a pup he liked to play with other cats (see pic) and play with stringy things.

Now and again, I could get him to follow the path of a flash light like a cat would.

He enjoys sleeping 20 hours a day and is well loved.....and bottom line..he is SPOILED!!! lol

Wow..horses...you must either have a nice piece of land or you fork out a lot of money to take care of those babies!

Turtles can be hard to take care of.......my brother had one when we were younger...unfortunately it died

Her brother, "Mason.dog" (That's "Mason Dot Dog.")

And no family would be complete without it's rebel, here's Charlie, my Rottweiler:

Ah...rats! They're not gross...they're actually very social and make great pets.

I also breed Sugar Gliders, for anyone who knows what they are. And I have a hamster name Lilo, and two rabbits, Pixel and Theo.

Oh yeah, and a bearded dragon named Zeta. She's a spoiled brat.

I think that's it. Except for my roommate's cat, but she doesn't belong to me, she just lives here.

    Thank you!

Charlie is a little stinker. Rottweilers really need to come from good breeders and they need very strict discipline. Unfortunately I didn't get him until he was 4 months old, and he has issues with other dogs. I got him to be a buddy for Pasdar and that didn't work out very well. He's great with people but we have to keep him separate from the others. He has aggression with food and toys and it got to the point that I couldn't take a chance with another dog getting hurt. But he's my baby and I have no fears he will hurt a person - he's just one of those dogs that doesn't play nice with other dogs.

They are all purebred...my roommate calls me a "dog snob" but I really do love all dogs. Pasdar is the oldest of the bunch and I researched forever before choosing his breeder. The Chihuahuas came along as a spur of the moment decision, and they're lovable little clowns I don't think I could live without.

Chloe was the last to join us - I waited 4 years to get a bulldog and I'm glad I took the time to learn as much about them as possible. They have a lot of health issues and have "needy" personalities. Chloe is a very happy and healthy little girl and as much as I love all my critters, she's very special to me. The only concern my vet has about her is her small nostrils - her snoring is so cute but if it gets to be too loud she may require surgery to help her breathe.

As for the sugar gliders, they are very complicated little guys. People look at them and think "yeah, it's like a flying squirrel" but they're not and their needs are very specific. Mine have their own bedroom and half the freezer is dedicated strictly to their food - fruits, vegetables and and a special mixture I make in the blender that's called BML. The best Sugar Glider site on the net is at http://www.sugarglider.net. The message board there is full of some of the most knowledgable breeders in the world.

I know about complications! Sharpeis are hard to take care of too because of their wrinkly skin. Bimmer has just started to gain more wrinkles! Such a late bloomer along with some minor shedding. To top it off I still have to watch out for his eyes Might need surgery if it start to fold but no problems yet.

I hope Chloe can get through that, but at least it can be helped.

Maybe I will get a sugar glider when I've got more free time and time to dedicate to animals....so....that will be some years!! Those little guys sure get taken care of quite well!!

I know how it is with an aggressive dog...I'm sorry that he doesn't get along with other dogs....original owners fault...and hard to correct...especially with a stubborn breed like the rottweiler.

Dog Snob? lol that is funny.....

    Buddy

Here is a picture of Buddy taking a little nap.

He's about 5 years old and a bit over-protective of me... nips at anyone who tries to touch me.

I've got 5-6+ sections of land behind my house (approx. 3500 acres) that I trail ride and I also compete in team roping.. Animals are awesome..
