understanding ping
I'm trying to figure this out, and I'm kinda confused about something.
Most hosts/sites seem to be fine, but some are an exception. For some I've checked, when I try to get its ping, nearly all the time, it will say that I've lost all my sent packets and tells me that the server is busy and that I should check again later. However, once in a long while (a few weeks) it will actually get through and they'll score low ping rates.
Just be "feeling" it though, whenever I actually visit them, they're pretty much always up and they seem to constantly be pretty much consistent in their loading speeds.
Should that tell me something about them? -is there a problem with them, or does it not change the quality of their service in any way?

Some hosts block pings to the server (we do!).
