domain ran out problem
I have a friend that had a domain's registration run out a couple of months ago. He now wants to reregister it but a whois search says it is registered by a company called NOLDC.com . It's called the new orleans leftover data center.
So what can I do? I presume I would just send them an email and ask how much they want for it.

Jeff, that signature is against WHT rules (no prices allowed). Oh, and btw, that site looks very familiar. We need to talk.
ganz, from your description it looks like that may be the only way of getting the domain back.
