    Virtual Phone Systems/Switchboard

I am wondering what the best place is to get automated phone systems/virtual switchboard? So when a client calls they are taken to either a set of voice prompts or touch tone prompts and then based on their response their call is routed to the right person/number/extension.

    Thanks

Well, how many phones/extensions are you looking for?

    What is your price limit?

(Ive been searching myself...and Ive seen everything from PC's running custom software with modems installed that do call routing/virtual receptionist work to systems that require business lines and cost thousand of dollars.)

    And another one....

Checkout Virtual PBX... http://www.virtualpbx.com I've heard good things about them.

Personally, I picked up a cybergenie system from Ebay. Best small business system I've seen, and, since they've gone out of business, you can't beat the prices from ebay!

Cybergenie is a two inbound line phone system. It uses 2.4ghz handsets, and I believe you can have up to 10 on the system.

It has a built in autoattendent, speech recognition, etc. You can transfer calls between handsets (Extensions), voice dialing, music on hold, etc.

Great little product. Too bad they went under.

Thanks for the responses. The best system from my tests has been the one from http://www.freedomvoice.com .

I'll give freedomvoice.com a third vote as well. I swear that system seems to be designed around a small - medium size host.
