sticking to more known affiliate programs such as gator's and Justhost's would be better choice as told above.

This isn't the first thread I've seen reporting their affiliate program as less than honest. It's really unfortunate.

Update. Well I've tried contacting the new affiliate manager at WebHostingPad a few times now. Same result - no response, no payment.

webhostingpad scam me twice in a row

Hi guys, i just wanted to share with all of you so that none of you will fall for this again. I can confirm they scam their affiliates.

All commission was removed after a few days in my CJ account.
This has been done twice in a row.

For your information, the person who purchased this hosting is my friend.

    Reason given: hosting cancelled

It was like... WTF. The website is still up and running !

    -------------------------------------------

    Hello,

The commission was reversed because it appears that the client has cancelled.

    Regards,
    Matt Jones

after further complaint, i receive this email from them in my CJ account.

We regret to inform you that the Commission Junction advertiser Web Hosting Pad has chosen to expire its affiliation with you effective 13-Jan-2011.

If you would like to locate another advertiser in the network to partner with, login to your Account Manager and visit the Get Links tab.

    Best Regards,

If only affiliates could see the amount of fraud that we deal with!

When an affiliate inquires about a sale that supposedly did not track, we ask for the domain for the sale when we do not have any other information other than an affiliate stating that they made a sale. Once a referred sale is made, the domain is given to the affiliate and can be viewed in their affiliate control panel. When something is amiss, we even check IP logs to see if the person who the affiliate says they signed up visited their site. Affiliate inquiries are researched but without more information than "Where is my sale?" there is not much to go on.

When an affiliate decides to join a program, it is essential that they read the agreement or terms of service that the company employs. Our terms are fair and again it is important to have safeguards in place or we would not be able to pay the high CPA's that keep us competitive.
Your Service suc. , my hosting suspended before end.

    Never use webhostingpad.

This is what I love about Webhostingtalk (and my 1st post after a long absence)

I was looking for some cheap hosting, Westhostingpad came up.

I find it amusing that WHP responded to this thread but could not respond to the complainants. How would they treat me if I was a paying client?

Needless to say WHP is off my shortlist.

Thank you Webhostingtalk and the community

I am a strong supporter of WebHostingPad as I host customer sites with them as well ass promote them through their affiliate program. However, I do have to say I have indeed had a significant amount of issues with commissions "disappearing" from my affiliate console. On multiple occasions, the commissions would just be gone when I would pull up my stats... Fortunately for me, I keep records and all commissions were added back, but it seems like an issue that should be addressed.

Is this a re-occurring problem with webhostingpad? I ask because I am always looking to add to the affiliate pool, so to speak.

    Avoid WebHostingPad at all cost

I would want to declare that I am one of the victim of Webhostingpad Scammer Company. I run an offline business selling website design and those related stuffs and I'm selling Webhostingpad hosting package as an affiliate for those of my clients that haven't yet have a hosing account.

Recently, my client bought a hosting package with webhostingpad via my CJ affiliate link and the sale indeed was credited into my account. However, after about two days when I logged into my account, the commission has gone in which this webhostingpad scammer has wiped it out and gave me a damn stupid reason, "invalid credit card". WTF, I have double checked with my client, and his credit card has indeed charged and the hosting account it accessible and the website is LIVE. I have sent them email regarding this issue, and it seems that nobody that is alive there to attend me....

    Webhostingpad scamming affiliate

In fact I lost two (2X $100) commissions from webhostingpad.

WTF, WEBHOSTING A BLOODY SCAMMER. I got to blame myself for not having search for reviews like this thread. And I should have stayed with hostgator.

For those future affiliate, avoid WEBHOSTINGPAD at all cost! And do a search for review before getting yourself affiliated with any hosting company. Most are scammers too!

Just wanted to note I had a similar experience back when I ran a hosting review site -- found it easier to simply remove the companies from our listings vs. micro-managing affiliate referral logins & harassing companies we were owed money from.

They're not the only shop doing it, in fact I'd say a large percentage of companies I've had experience with are outright defrauding most of their affiliates: Keep an eye on those referred sign-ups & doublecheck every canceled referral's existing host / ip address they're on.

On a monthly basis we'd come across several thousand dollars in canceled sales that were legitimate -- even from some of the biggest companies in the industry, including some of the "recommended" good ones in this very thread.

I'm surprised the people behind it can sleep at night; I hope most of them drown in their yacht fuel to be honest

    Good luck!

That is quite impossible for the system not showing the sales except you did not submit to it, anyhow you should leave this company and go for better and realiable company

Our affiliate program is under new management, and the individual who has taken over is more active in assisting all affiliates with any issues that they may have. We know our affiliate program has not been run very well in the past, but we are working hard on making it a better experience for everyone.

You will find alot of companies will have a hidden scrub rate they won't tell you about for affiliates which is basically financial projections on when they reach ROI and profit based on payouts. Eg: send 10 customers there way, depending on that scrub rate you might only get paid for 6.

I used to think it was dodge (why I don't work as an affiliate manager anymore), but alot of affiliate networks know about this and are all involved anyway.

Just my experience.. but ya know. It is what it is.

Thanks for sharing your info about scam hosting. Beware to all people, if you are interested to joint hosting affiliate program, first to check it their credibility using search engine.

We don't have any scrub rate nor do we do any sort of lead shaving. We do have affiliate terms that we follow pretty strictly (because of the high amount of attempted fraud encountered), and most of the complaints we receive about commissions being removed are ones that are in breach of those terms.

    Question

    webhostingpad

    Can I get a reply? on my tickets? (FTC-441367 ,BOK-193425 , DMB-204162 , ZKG-847728 , JSY-126571)

I have emailed mananger@webhostingpad.com but my emails were moved under affiliate team section.
    My email was :
    Hi,

I'm an affiliate who has been trying to get in touch with your affiliate department for the past two months, never receiving any kind of reply. The last e-mail that I have received from them was on April 3rd. I would very much appreciate the courtesy of a reply.

    Thank you

I don't think I asking too much. According to your affiliate system it states that your company paid me $375.00 USD to my paypal account on 06-17-2012. However no funds were received in my account.

Also other commisions wasn't credited to my account. On ticket ZKG-847728 you will see that there was 12 commisions that wasn't credit to my account. Your affiliated mananger confirmed me that.

I avoided to post on forums, but 2 months of waiting I think is enough.
