    EV1 subnet seems down...?

    Hi,

Some of our servers at 207.x seems to be down.

Anyone noticing that? Their website seems also down.

Yes I am noticing strange things happening. I can't access their website or forum. However this only seems to be affecting one of my servers. All the rest seem fine. Mine is on 216.127. Another on 207.44 is working fine.

Obviously it's not a very widespread problem because there seems to be no other posts about it. I am able to ssh into the box in question via the other server and all appears fine. It is even running an average load and looks like it's serving webpages. Maybe whatever the problem is only affecting certain routes. I just wish I knew what was going on. Why is it these things always happen at 4a.m in the morning.

Exactly. I don't like going to bed while a server seems down...with a new Kernel also

It's still not back locally but according to the spotcheck @ alertra.com the site is up from all 3 test locations.

Check the members area, they had a whole list of blocks that MIGHT see downtime as providers moved things around.

This is expected, occasionally, as providers DO update routes and the like on a very infrequent basis (or they should be doing it infrequently), and occasionally you'll notice issues with that. ev1 is pretty good about keeping people informed in the members area well in advance (days if not weeks).
