About Us
We started as TalentHouse, a consulting company with a focus on Software and Hardware consulting for medium and large business customers. As our business grew we added hosting capabilities to our customers. Now we have expanded to offer hosting as a service to everyone. We are in the process of setting up a new corporate brand identity. Our new corporate name will be Ionity Corporation or Ionity for short. Soon we will have a website at www.ionity.com.
Datacenter
We are located in Kansas City, Missouri, the heart of America.
Kansas City is a great choice for hosting as it is in the middle of the USA and can reach customers across the country with a lower average latency to the entire country in comparison to being on the East or West Coast.
Our data center has an anti-static raised floor for added data protection
Power
Our facility is setup with redundant utility power feeds on diverse power grids from Kansas City Power and Light (One of the most reliable power companies in the country). Should both utility power feeds fail we have redundant UPS power that will carry the load until the backup diesel power generation starts. We have on-site fuel for 24 hours, and critical infrastructure contracts with fuel delivery companies for a continuous supply of fuel.
Our building has a 100% diverse A+B buss system. This means servers with redundant power supplies will always be connected to completely separate power systems and allows for a 100% uptime power guarantee.
Cooling
Two cooling plants provide a chilled water loop to the entire building. These chilled water loops are completely independent and are connected to Emerson / Leibert CRAC cooling units. All cooling units are fully redundant (N+1) and can survive off an entire cooling plant failure. In the event there is a failure in both cooling-plants the chilled water loops can be diverted to a city water supply. Should maintenance need to be performed, tanker trucks can connect at the street-level to provide a supply of chilled water to the cooling loops.
The data center is setup in a hot-aisle / cold-aisle configuration with the raised floor plenum used to deliver cold air to the front of the racks, and the ceiling used to return the hot exhaust to the CRAC. In our high-end configurations we are able to use APC ARU to evacuate 16kW of heat from each rack.
Network
Our core internet routing takes place on fully redundant Juniper T-320 Core Internet Routers. We have uplinks from Level(3), Cogent Communications and Hurricane Electric. We will be adding another premium provider (TW Telecom, AT&T, CenturyLink, Verizon Business, or something akin no later than 1Q2012)
All of our core switching is done on Juniper Networks EX series witches and the top of rack switches are Juniper Networks EX4200 switches. All servers are directly connected to Juniper EX switches. We have a direct IP allocation from ARIN for IPv4 and IPv6.
Hardware
All of our hardware is server grade equipment from SuperMicro. We use SuperMicro rack mount chassis, SuperMicro server motherboards.
IPMI Access
You have access to your server’s IPMI that provides KVM over the Internet to allow you to power cycle, access bios, install your own Operating System, etc without the need to open a support ticket. You have access using our secure Juniper Networks JunOS Pulse SSL VPN. This allows you to access the IPMI panel from an iPhone / iPad or WiFi enabled iPod, an Android phone or any desktop or laptop computer.
Network Security
This is an optional service with an additional cost. We offer fully redundant managed Juniper SRX firewalls that can provide deep packet inspection of all traffic to your website, etc and block all other traffic. This also means your SSH or any other backend server access must travel through our firewall for added protection and server hardening.

$100 for the E5645 server. I'm guessing additional similar servers would not be at the discounted price?

Probably not, but it would depend on the final auction price.
It is a dual cpu with 48gb ram. 2u chassis with 12 hdd bays. The raid card is an Adaptec 5805. We could go up to 12 hard drives internally.
We can upgrade them to 192gb ram and X5680 CPU's
The chassis supports a second power supply for a+b redundant power ($40/mo more)
We have some shared storage arrays with 24 x 300GB 10k drives. So this would be good for an on app setup or something as well..█ REDUNDANT.COM • Equinix Data Centers • Performance Optimized Network

someone emailed and asked.. IP's will be $0.50 FOR THIS AUCTION ONLY.
They must be justified properly. i.e. one per VPS container, not a block to each customer.
No mail spam will be tolerated either and can result in service termination without refund.█ REDUNDANT.COM • Equinix Data Centers • Performance Optimized Network

Current bid is $110 for the E3-1230.
Current bid is $225 for the E5645
On the E5645 seems I was reading from the wrong line of the page. We may not have this confiig in stock as I thought we did. If that is the case I will update this and let everyone know that we had to cancel it.█ REDUNDANT.COM • Equinix Data Centers • Performance Optimized Network

So what I thought was a single 2U dual 5645 is actually a Twin^2. It's 4 nodes in 2U, each with 2 drives. It looks about the same as the 2U servers. I didn't notice the specific model and when I looked at the drives I just saw there were 8 x 1TB drives.
http://www.supermicro.com/products/s...-6026TT-TF.cfm
So this is really a much different system.
We will need to terminate the 5645 server auction as we can't delver what we listed.
The E3-1230 with 16GB ram is still available and ready to go and the high bid is $110. So the next bid is $115.█ REDUNDANT.COM • Equinix Data Centers • Performance Optimized Network

The problem with this chassis is it only has 3 hard drive slots. You can use hardware RAID but there is only a single PCI slot. So it can be RAID, network, external SAS, etc... But then you only have 2 onboard 1gig NIC's. So your limited in one way or another (We only have one of these, because we never put them into production. So that also means we don't have a spare). If we had 3 or 4 people that wanted one we could buy a spare to keep on site, but other than that.. This chassis is destine to be sold on eBay or something for a loss.
The reason this was put up as an auction is the in service date is from several months ago (I had the physical specs confused with another server)
As far as similar specs.. We could build one from new hardware. The regular price would be $500/m. We could have it setup tonight or tomorrow.
To be honest I don't think the auction will get close to $500 (to justify new equipment unboxed).
If you guys want to keep bidding and if we get to $400+ I can do it. I don't think a "reserve" is really fair on an auction on this site. (We have not done it before)
Up to you guys. What does everyone who is interested in this server think?█ REDUNDANT.COM • Equinix Data Centers • Performance Optimized Network

The E3-1230 with 16GB ram is still available and ready to go and the high bid is $110. So the next bid is $115.
Did a little math on the 5645.. We could get it a little under $400 as a one time end of year special for this auction. (mental note is to never put two servers in the same auction thread at once)
