BFG Tech GeForce 8500GT - 2 Monitors - Cable needed
I bought a BFG Tech GeForce 8500GT http://www.bfgtech.com/bfgr851024gte.aspx recently which has 1 Dual-Link DVI-I (Female) Output.
I also have 2 Dell 2007WFPb monitors with DVI-D (Female) inputs.
Before I had a low end PCI video card with Dual-VGA outputs on the card and that was easy enough to configure and connect to 2 monitors.
Now I am hard pressed to find a cable to connect my NEW video card (bfgr851024gte) with my existing two monitors (Dell 2007WFPb).
I searched ebay but I dont think I am using the right keywords because I keep getting on male to male, no male to 2 males.
Any help?Last edited by HNLV; 09-07-2008 at 09:39 AM.

Sorry I have a video card coming tomorrow and I didnt want to wait another week for the cables.
Yes, kinda like those, its just that there are so many "versions" of DVI that I am not sure which cable goes with what.
I'll give that a try. But boy, are those things pricey.Email: info ///at/// honelive.com

Huh.....I didnt think of that. I was going to get DUAL DVI video cards but they were just so damn expensive. Upwards of $200+ which is obviously for gamers and I couldn't justify the cost for my use.
Ok, I guess I will get the adapter and use the VGA->DVI connection for the screen where I run Putty and the ACTUAL DVI for the main screen.Email: info ///at/// honelive.com

Why not get two lower end DVI cards, if you've got the slots for them? Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2&N=2000380048

Well I have 1 x 16x PCIe and 2 x 1x PCIe slots. Out of these I already used the 16x PCIe for the current card and one of the 1x PCIe slots for the sound card. So I have only 1 1x PCIe left.
But I see on that page they do have a few low end Dual DVI cards.
I'll look into those.Email: info ///at/// honelive.com
