Chrome is fast but I'm still using Firefox. Matter of taste probably.

Chrome is the fastest of the web browsers, but Firefox is stuffed with useful plugins.

You can choose either Chrome or Opera now - Opera decided to run the Chromium engine and now it's basically a copy of Chrome with Opera's wrapper.

Re: fast browser
Maxthon is advertised to be 200% faster than Chrome but it's just an advertisement after all. I moved to it from Chrome and I've been using it for years now. Opera is also fast.

In regards to the topic at hand, PC Mag did a detailed research in their article "By the Numbers: the Fastest Browser" on this subject matter back in January of 2103. Here below were the results of their findings in their article for fastest browser in different scenarios:
The Fastest Browser
Startup: Internet Explorer
JavaScript: Google Chrome
Hardware Acceleration: Three-way Tie: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer
Page Load Reports: Internet Explorer
Overall Winner: Internet Explorer
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2413632,00.asp
As for me personally I use FireFox for the overall experience but the results of the testing was interesting and surprising.0

I like Chrome for it's pretty looks and simplicity. I use Safari on mobile (iOS, of course!).

Chrome doesn't get slower the longer you have it running like IE does.

I used to use firefox because it was the fastest for me. Now that I switched to chrome, I find Chrome to be a lot faster than firefox.
I still use firefox but mostly use Chrome.

My vote also goes to Chrome. I've tried many browsers over my time (and tried to go to something "different" to chrome). Somehow I just always go back to Chrome, its the fastest, cleanest and simplest in my opinion .

According to a recent test the aggregated results put Firefox at the top, followed by IE10, Opera 12, Opera 15 and Chrome.

After seeing this pots I jumped onto IE10 and I feel it is running so slow compared to Chrome, at the bottom of that list.
I'll most likely test out FireFox 25 (as that looks beautiful) and if it is fast, doesn't crash so much etc... then I may use that instead of Chrome.
Will play with IE10 for a while though.0
