They must be going ape s*h*i*t there. They did say they had some problems with a coordinated DOS attack a while back...I thought they had redundant connections to prevent this...or does it take awhile to reroute things...

I'm on an OC12 elsewhere, so my traceroute has very low packet times except for the last hop, so it did look kinda like a DoS attack as far as I know about that stuff. But sure enough they're back online now and on the same route. Downtime must have been ~5 minutes?
[edit]Spoke too soon, back down again. and it does look like a DoS now[/edit]
[edit]I suppose nothing to do but quit posting and wait... AT&T finally dropped the route and it switched to ALTER.NET and it dropped the route and now my local router doesn't bother, so that's that I guess.[/edit]Last edited by getweb; 01-31-2002 at 11:16 PM.
