Now you proceed to breach distance selling regulations?
you must give consumers clear information including details of the goods or services offered, delivery arrangements and payment, the supplier's details and the consumer's cancellation right before they buy (known as prior information)
I really did think you was a professional outfit daniel!UK Based Proactive Server Management.

That screen shot and partitions look famaliar to me, I saw them like yesterday. You are with one of those very well known hosting companies? Site5? Hostgator? I remember they had server status for anyone to view and it was over 4.

Every one know that unlimited disk space and bandwith dont exist , there is always a limit. But a 4cpu server is not so bad, depend if overselling is allowed in that company,
Overselling in most of cases make the servers load hard.

Most of our reseller servers has pretty low CPU load average, high Idle CPU time and low IO wait. I can understand the CPU Load average can be alarming to users in some extent, though I can ensure you the performance hasn't been sacrificed at all in any of our server. Our technique of optimization has always been to improve the idle CPU and IO bandwidth. But it seems users would like to see less load average values as well on the reseller servers. I have gone through couple of internal upgrades and optimization and here is the result in the attached screenshot. I have been monitoring the performance after the latest changes on that server and can find the average is very stable.
I have tried sending you PM, but didn't receive a reply. I thought posting this for everyone would be better in case of mis-understanding regarding our server condition as well as the possible wrong interpretation of load average value in linux system. And never feel bad to ask your host for explanation, all hosts are ready to explain you - as a client, why and what is happening inside the server
Good luck.Last edited by mellow-h; 08-22-2010 at 03:00 AM.
