    Question about IPV6

Will we still be able to use IPV6 as a web address like we can with IPV4?
I mean such as visiting it in your navigation bar with just "http://127.0.0.1" ? I tried with my firefox (it's a old version cause alot of my plugins aren't updated) and it just says the first two digits and could not be loaded... So will it work?

    To put it simply; Yes.

However, as IPv6 addresses can be significantly longer, you'd be better off getting it pointed to by a domain.

Exactly. IPs (even IPv4) are difficult to remember, so the use of domains/hostnames tends to be better... But yes, you can connect with only an IPv6 address.
